"Thank you Trip for Biscuits, you were amazing! From the after dinner duo, to the evening 5 piece band, it was perfect. With your unique style, your music added such great flare to our wedding. From randomly seeing you perform for the first time in the Bootlegger in Exeter, we absolutely loved your music & you certainly didn't disappoint for our big day!!"

"Sometimes it all just falls into place. The setting, the situation, the scene, the tone -- everything is going your way. That describes last night for me. And at the heart of this mid-week Xanadu was the Rick Holland Uptown Orchestra, a modest, brass-centric outfit led by the trumpet-blowing Holland that swung with equal parts effervescence and laid-back cool at Lovin Cup. And come to find out, five of his Hollands regular guys were sidelined, and the holes on the bandstand were plugged with subs --- hired music muscle like Po’ Boy Erik Jacobs on the slide trombone. By the time the Orchestra heaped on a helping of Count Basie, there was nowhere else I wanted to be. I dragged my mom out in the cold for this show and she was thrilled when they stomped on the Savoy. Holland led the affair with a relaxed air, coaxing more than conducting under his porkpie lid. He went around the bandstand numerous times so every cat there got his fair shake, including pianist extraordinaire Bill Dobbins. This is one sweet band, yes, yes. Frank De Blase, Roch City News "

"We hired Melissa to sing at our restaurant last month. She performed a fantastic 1940's to 1960's set which went down really well with all of our regulars. Looking forward to her coming back in a few months. 10/10 highly recommend!"

"In November we chose the Trio for our tenth wedding anniversary party and they were the perfect choice! We had viewed various bands on YouTube and contacted a few. They were by far the most responsive and even sent us videos of our song requests in advance. On the night they were super helpful and truly got the party going for us. Would hire them again in a flash!"

"Love these guys. They were recommended by my daughter's singing teacher and were the icing on the cake. I loved their repertoire .Sleeky sultry smooth cool jazz played unobtrusively whilst we all basked in the sunshine. Hetty has a lovely range ably supported by Miguel on guitar and Stephanie on saxophone. I have no hesitation in recommending them .Wishing you every success !!"

"We had Eric at a family party for my brother who was 60, his children and grandchildren attended so it was a mixed age group, Eric was very friendly and explained which instruments he was playing on, which he did very well. He has a varied list of songs and kept us entertained while he was there, some people carried on talking but later they said it was good to have some background entertainment, I would certainly recommend Eric to liven up any party, thank you so much for attending ours."

"The Uptown Society Orchestra may have had six members, but it sounded as if it had twice as many as members blew triumphantly throughout New Years' eve night. "Thank you all so much for your amazing performance on Saturday evening, which was everything I could have hoped for! Your music was brilliant, got everyone up dancing and I can’t tell you how many people told me afterwards ‘how brilliant the 1920s band were’. As soon as you played your first song I knew we’d struck gold! It couldn’t have been more perfect given the whole Gatsby theme and everyone so dressed up, so thank you all so much. You may be interested to know that we raised an astonishing £7,000 on the night! With just 96 people in the room…amazing! Thanks again Matthew and I’ll not hesitate to recommend you if anyone should ask me for a fabulous 20’s Jazz Band!"
