"So I don’t often write reviews but I really feel it’s worth saying how great this band are. When planning our wedding day we knew how important the music would be. We wanted a band that would make sure all of our friends and family would have a great night, it was hard to know who to choose, but straight from the first contact with these guys I knew they would be the right band. No matter how many questions I had these guys were always friendly and helpful in their response. So many of our guests commented on how brilliant the band were, you honestly won’t go wrong choosing this band. "

"Chris & Alkka performed at our big family party , celebrating a silver wedding , a graduation and a 16th birthday - they were absolutely amazing , their set got everyone up dancing- with such a variety in guests ages that is no mean feat ! Alkka’s vocals are off the chart ! Alkka & Chris are a perfect acoustic duo and come with the highest recommendations from the Family Sharpe "

"From the very beginning, the treatment was friendly, professional, and super close. All the guests were delighted. The ceremony, with their background music, created a unique emotion, and the atmosphere they generated during the cocktail hour was a 10. We are so happy to have chosen them. "Marblehead Johnson were absolutely fantastic, they created a perfect atmosphere and filled the dance floor almost instantly. They were very professional from booking right through to the big day, and even emailed me afterwards to congratulate us. Loads of my guests commented on how good they were. Highly recommended! "

"Phil was a lovely guy. Checking in with us before hand to see if we were still happy with our song choices. He is an amazing musician, with a beautiful voice. My husband plays guitar and sings and so does the best man, so we spent ages finding someone they were happy with. He played us down the aisle, signing of the registry, walking back up the aisle and then during our reception on the terrace. Many of the guests commented on how great he was and some wanted his business card. We would definitely recommend Phil, hes an exceptional musician and all round nice guy."

"Absolutely brilliant! Made the entire night and brought so much life to the party. Played a mixture of upbeat songs and irish jigs and accommodated the music we wanted for the party and accommodated all ages. So excited to book them again. The guests are still mentionioning them a whole week after our event. Most friendly and professional band you could hire. If you're looking for a band to accommodate 18+ look no further, the whole place was dancing all night. Very talented guys. Thank you so much for making our party that much better."

"The Distance literally blew my mind. 2 extremely talented people playing live music you would normally need 12 members to perform live. Not only are they amazing musicians, wait till you hear their vocal talents! Absolutely amazing! Highly recommended :)"
