"Hi Taylormade, Thank you for performing for 6 MI Battalion this weekend. I really enjoyed being entertained by you and the band and it was a lovely way to spend the evening after a very long, hot day. It was nice just to be able to sit down with a few drinks and enjoy the music. I received a lot of very positive feedback from the troops about the band and how professional you were, so well done to you all! We are so glad that we managed to find you and secure the booking! I would have no hesitation in recommending Taylormade to anyone in the future. The hard work that we put in paid off with an excellent parade to mark being granted the Freedom of Dudley on Sunday, presented by The Lord Mayor so it was a fantastic weekend for all. "We were so lucky to have Ant play at our wedding. When we told him we wanted Led Zeppelin’s Thank-you as our first dance, Ant spent his time learning and perfecting his own cover of the song, which when performed was a moment we will never forget from our day. Ant is really passionate about music so it was great to talk through our play list with him. He is reliable, professional, truly talented and the loveliest guy. We loved Ant’s live music so much we booked him again for a 30th birthday party, which was equally as brilliant. "

"Thank you so much for a fantastic end to a wonderful day you were the icing on the cake so to speak. Great choice of crowd pleaser songs kept the floor full all night. And a special thanks for learning a new song for the couples first dance, you could see what it meant to them. Four talented musicians, a fantastic vocalist and very nice people. If anybody is looking for a band look no further you will not be disappointed. Firebeats rock."

"This group's music is cleverly arranged and beautifully presented. Their recent performance at the Barn theatre in Welwyn Garden City was captivating with subtle arrangements using occasional horns, sensitive vocals and a level of professionalism that others strive to achieve. This quintet is ahead of the game and an act not to miss."

"Leader performed 2 acoustic sets earlier in the day and then played all together in the evening. The song choices were right on point for the guests we had there. All the members of the band were very polite and accommodating, playing requests for guests and generally adding to the atmosphere. Many guests have commented on how good they were and asked for the bands name. I would definitely book them again."

"From the first contact, Jake filled us with confidence that it was going to be a great event. His communications prior to the night were professional and allowed us to personalise the type of evening we wanted to create. The Band arrived promptly and set up with a playlist in the background suiting our preferred genre. They were helpful in changing the timings on the night to accommodate the mood of the party. The music itself was fantastic; they're a talented bunch of musicians! And they have the ability to modify the playlist, depending on their audience. Lots of our guests commented on how good the band were. All in all, value for money. And we have total confidence in recommending them. A huge 'thank you' to Jake and all the band members for helping to make our wedding party a night to remember"

"I’ve been listening to Ian Thompson ‘s album ” New World” for several days now whilst travelling to work and back Ian is incredibly talented and a unique and wonderful singer/ song writer He’s from Liverpool and now resides in the Isle of Man The thing that stands out with this album for me is the quality and melody of the songs ( jointly written by Ian’s brother Jimmy ) You can’t help making comparisons with the Beatles with that standard of writing There is rock, pop, jazz and classical influence s here I hear shades of Van Morrison, the Beatles like I’ve already mentioned, Chris rea, Level 42 and even Madness The diversity of each track and the craftsmanship is breathtaking We live in an age where art like this seems to have so little monetary value When you consider how much, time, effort and emotion that’s been invested here This track ” Your my Liverpool ” has really affected me this morning To me it’s a song about loss, about missing times past and loved ones especially parents It conjured up my Mum straight away and I felt she was sat beside me in the car this morning as tears poured down my face A stunning incredible album by a fantastic musician. Beautiful. "
