"Groove City were brilliant!! Extremely talented, friendly and the best vibe. We had them during the garden party and canepes at our wedding and they were amazing! They played all the songs we requested, got everyone up and dancing and even let me take the mic to sing a song and joined in with me. Would definitely recommend - thank you for making our wedding day so memorable! Rach & Max"

"There are songs that just stand out because they are so different from everything out there. “Stay Down Kat”, by The Unknowns, is definitely one of those songs. There’s a suave, jazzy, bluesy feel to this song, with great lead and backing vocals. It’s sultry, sensual, mysterious, and controlled, yet it has its powerful moments. And who can resist a great sax solo? Those things will draw you in, and soon The Unknowns will be known. They are Kim Bowman (vocals, piano), Caitie Bowel (vocals, guitars), Allison Bowman (vocals, ukulele), Sarah Yates (acoustic bass), and Melanie Sehman (drums) "

"We just wanted to thank you so much for playing at our wedding recently. As my family are Scottish a piper was always something I wanted and when we came across your site my dad thought you were brilliant. Having then lost my dad only very recently having you there was all the more poignant. The moment I heard you play when I was in the bridal suite brought me to tears. It was so very special. You are a complete professional and communication was fabulous from start to finish. Having you pipe us into the wedding breakfast and presenting you with the traditional quaich made our wedding so much more special. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to others. "From hearing her perform at an event I knew that Laura would be a perfect added extra to my 40th Birthday Celebrations. My parents and I booked Laura and she was professional and personal with regards to the style of music I wanted and even took requests before the event which really made it a special type of entertainment. Guests all commented on the way she performed really well and the right style of music while guests arrived and during the start of the meal which is what I wanted, I am already thinking of other events I could have her perform at. Thank you so much for adding a touch of live music to my event and providing the sound system too so I didn't have to think about any of the set up or the music during your short break."

"Review received on 8/12/2024 Grandma's 80th birthday I found Mario on the internet for my grandma's 80th birthday. My grandma is a HUGE Elvis fan she loves him. No one cab take the place of Elvis but Mario was awesome so so happy I found him for her. I am truly blessed to have found Mario and his wife helped cover it up so it could be a surprise. I thank them both so much. They both are rock stars and my grandma's party turned out to be a #1 hit just like all of Elvis's songs. "Review received on 7/4/2021 Amazing band - made our wedding This band is so amazing. They are all the nicest of people and amazingly talented musicians and vocalists. They performed at our wedding, including acoustic music while we walked down the aisle and during the cocktail hour and then they rock and rolled for dinner. They gave us a huge set list that we could choose from which they played and also added to. Everyone enjoyed them so much. People were dancing all night. They really made our wedding a special event. "Hired a jazz trio with Dan for my wedding - which was themed around an outdoor garden party. Dan was fantastic at keeping in touch and booking couldn't have been easier. The guys were there and ready for when they said they would be, and they were absolutely brilliant! Provided the perfect backdrop to our event, excellent musicians too. I would have no hesitation in recommending these guys, and should I have any events in future that would suit some smooth jazz then these guys would be top of the list! "
