" Big Mac’s Wholly Soul Band The Stage said ; 'An explosive start to the evening was provided by Big Mac's Wholly Soul Band. This is the way to play soul and Motown-a full ten piece band, great brass section, girl backing singers, pulsating rhythm section and Big Mac himself on lead vocals-not only great musicianship but also a great performance. I am not surprised that it is one of the most popular outfits in South Wales, as it was absolutely superb. If you book corporate functions or summer balls and want a great dance band, you could do a lot worse. This is a truly hot band.' "

"The band were great! The food hadn’t turned up and they were really accommodating with timings and they did an amazing version of our first dance, and we’ve had lots of people tell us how great they were. Highly recommended!"

"We could not have asked for a better band for our wedding- they were truly awesome!! Everyone was amazed by their voices and entertainment- we had lots of guests compliment them. They really kept the party going! They were also very accommodating (they had to learn the song for our first dance) and very easy/friendly to work with. Would definitely use them again, and can only recommend to anyone else!! "

"Ant was a pleasure to deal with, from initial contact via email through to the night of our event. Ant's dialogue and attitude with us was fantastic. He made sure that the songs that we personally requested were learnt and preformed; and that the style and mood of his performance would reflect the theme of our event. Our guests at the event were very complimentary of both Ants musical talents and his repertoire of songs. "There are songs that just stand out because they are so different from everything out there. “Stay Down Kat”, by The Unknowns, is definitely one of those songs. There’s a suave, jazzy, bluesy feel to this song, with great lead and backing vocals. It’s sultry, sensual, mysterious, and controlled, yet it has its powerful moments. And who can resist a great sax solo? Those things will draw you in, and soon The Unknowns will be known. "

"We each contacted Rahael and booked four musicians for our wedding in July. The contact, the contracting and then the performance in Italy (Lake Orta) went flawlessly. All guests as well as we enjoyed it incredibly. The band played for 4 hours with 15 minute interruptions. Everything with the breaks for the speeches and games worked excellently. Also, the band prepared the microphone and speakers for the ceremony and also played songs on the Iphone (our speaker wanted it that way). Everything was really wonderful and we would book the blue moon italian jazz band again anytime. Highly recommended! Vinz& Miriam"

"Wow! We were so impressed with these guys, from the first initial contact with Jon, i knew that we were in safe hands. The band arrived in the afternoon and setup discreetly in the marquee. The music was a great mixture and just what was needed to keep our guests dancing away through the night. They also put a playlist of upbeat songs on when they weren't playing which really helped keep the dance floor! Paul and I would definitely recommend you to any of our friends in need of a party band. Thank you! X"
