"They were absolutely incredible at our wedding! Anna's voice is simply breathtaking, and Michele's piano playing is both soulful and heartfelt. Together, they created a perfect musical harmony. All our guests raved about their performance. We were so moved at the ceremony that we later asked them if we could have a recording of them performing Schubert's Ave Maria and they literally run into their home studio and had it recorded by the next day! 10 out of 10!"

"Ant was an integral part of our wedding and such fun to work with. He listened to exactly what we were after and even though our first dance wasn't already in his repertoire, he more than happily went away and came up with a beautiful arrangement for our big day. I've had the pleasure of seeing Ant play both covers and his own original material and love his work. He has a truly wonderful voice which pulls you in. On top of it all, he was just a lovely bloke to work with. Thanks for making our day complete Ant! "

"Superb performance by a kind and talented band. I had Clara Risu in my venue performing one August Evening. I asked them to play a variety of covers of music ranging from upbeat, slow jams and more ambient tracks. Besides the fact they sounded fantastic and had excellent natural chemistry, they are also incredibly kind people. They helped with the clear up and were punctual and co operative for the set up prior to the night. In short, if you need a talented, kind and professional group of musicians to play at your venue whether it’s restaurant, Bar or private event. Look no further than Clara Risu. "Squid Lips played at our wedding in Evian last weekend. They handled all aspects of music and sound from ceremony, to jazz during cocktails, to mics for speeches, to band for dancing, and the DJ for later on. They really did an incredible job, took account of all our requests, no matter how obscure, and kept people on the dance floor all night. Cannot recommend this very talented bunch of musicans highly enough!"

"Review received on 7/4/2021 Amazing band - made our wedding This band is so amazing. They are all the nicest of people and amazingly talented musicians and vocalists. They performed at our wedding, including acoustic music while we walked down the aisle and during the cocktail hour and then they rock and rolled for dinner. They gave us a huge set list that we could choose from which they played and also added to. Everyone enjoyed them so much. People were dancing all night. They really made our wedding a special event. "My husband and I recently got married in Ostuni at Masseria Il Frantoio. When we began looking for music for the reception, jazz was on the top of our list. Blue Moon Jazz Band came highly recommended by our wedding planner and after hearing from her that they were able to keep a small intimate wedding dancing all night, I was sold. I love to dance and I was worried by having a smaller wedding we would miss out on that. Not the case at all! They learned the few pieces we wanted played for our ceremony and we gave them some suggestions for the reception, but left the rest up to them. They did not disappoint! We danced all night- even when it started to rain, they moved under an overhang so that they could continue the party! I highly recommend the Blue Moon Jazz Band for your wedding or event, I can’t say enough great things about them!! "
