"I just wondered if you'd be able to find a way to pass on my huge thanks to all of the band for being so brilliant yesterday at the Royal Docks Family Weekender event. Despite the challenge of not having a stage when they arrived they were all incredible enthusiastic and happy to be flexible and adapt to a walkabout performance that I think possibly worked even better than a static gig might have done. Seeing residents out on their balconies enjoying the music was a real highlight and definitely lifted all of our spirits after a challenging and damp morning"

"I entrusted the Sexton Connection Band with providing music for my Memphis wedding. It was one of the best decisions I made. They were professional, on time, and sounded great! They provided a string quartet that played during the actual wedding ceremony that added a sense of elegance to the ceremony, a 9 piece soulful band for the reception, and a played playlist of songs I selected. Their price was very reasonable and worth every penny! I got a dj, string quartet, and 9 piece band all in one. "We loved our experience with the Original Moonlighters. They offered a range of genres/time periods and accommodated our setlist requests. There’s a comment on FB asking if you’ll come back and the customer saying (yesterday afternoon) that she is still smiling! Although I’ve seen you guys a few times, I really thought it worked very well at Ashcroft and it was the best gig I’ve seen. You are all such talented, wonderful musicians individually in your own rights, but the chemistry was fantastic. It felt like we had experienced something very special and unique. "I have been meaning to message you directly also to thank you. What you produced the night of our wedding was nothing short of magical - and I do not say this lightly. I am very happy to hear the band enjoyed the evening - I think their enjoyment and energy showed through their music. The feedback we have had from guests is overwhelming, particularly that the band and the singer (I don't remember his name) was the best they have ever heard at a wedding. You guys nailed the performance. I am so happy that we decided to do a live version, you could not have gotten the same energy and vibe with just a recording / original version. Your two sets were also perfect. There were a few times that we all stopped in the marquee to listen and appreciate the music, particularly My Way - I remember looking around and quite a few people were singing along! I think another sign of a success of a wedding is the number of people on the dance floor, and there was not an empty space during the second set. The amount of people of all ages dancing was a true highlight for me as we wanted this to be a wedding that everyone would enjoy - not just us. "

"James and the Sexton Connection were absolutely great. He was a pleasure to work with from our initial conversation all the way through the event. Booking with him was easy and seamless. On the day of the event, the band arrived before before their scheduled time and worked within our constraints for an outdoor event. They were great before they played a note, but, when they did, they blew us away. All the musicians were super talented. They understood our event and had people up and dancing. I can't wait to use them again!"
