"Just to say a huge thank you for the gig on Saturday – which was clearly very well received by the audience. There’s a comment on FB asking if you’ll come back and the customer saying (yesterday afternoon) that she is still smiling! Although I’ve seen you guys a few times, I really thought it worked very well at Ashcroft and it was the best gig I’ve seen. You are all such talented, wonderful musicians individually in your own rights, but the chemistry was fantastic. It felt like we had experienced something very special and unique. The playfulness and sense of enjoyment and fun was contagious. Thank you – and please do pass on my thanks to all the band. "The music which you and the band played last Saturday for our daughter Sally’s wedding was excellent and all our guests really appreciated your musicianship and the great atmosphere which you helped create. "I hired the L.A Jazz band for my dads funeral. My dad knew his prognosis as was adamant it was to be a celebration of life for him. With the help of the band - we made this happen. I had positive feedback from friends and family. The band are extremely talented and professional. They ensured the service was upbeat with the music which helped to lift our spirits. I know my dad would have loved them and I’m sure he looked down on us with a smile that day. Thank-you L.A Jazz band. Can’t recommend you enough. (10 / 10) "

"Big City Dixieland was a HUGE hit in our City Parade! Audiences from all ages were singing along, clapping and even dancing in the grass! Big City Dixieland sounded great! From what we (the organizers) could hear, they played a good variety of lively, well-known Dixieland Music, including a patriotic song. It was very easy to work with Maureen and Michael, their band arrived early, and everyone was very professional. We will definitely be hiring Big City Dixieland band for our next event in 2025! "

"I can't rate The Moochers highly enough. They did an amazing job and worked really well with the dancers. Kathleen's voice is beautiful and band sounded amazing. I cannot recommend them highly enough - definitely book these guys if you are having a 1920's / Great Gatsby themed event, you will not be disappointed."

"We were both extremely impressed by the band and really enjoyed the music. Even more telling was the number of comments we had from guests as we walked around during the reception. The band is extremely talented and the music they played for us was perfect. They played two songs for us that weren't on their regular set list, and both were great. We were really pleased with their performance and professionalism. Anybody who likes well played gypsy, Dawg, or music that isn't cookie cutter will love these guys."

"Thank you so much for providing such wonderful music for the party! Everyone has been saying what fun it was with your live music and it really set the scene. The pudding was a bit late but everyone was so happy listening to you. We especially appreciated the improvisation over the Gatsby film tunes which sounded amazing! It really made the party go with a swing."
