"Given that 80% of our guests had never ceilidh’d before, the brogues did a wonderful job of leading dances where everyone could get involved and felt very much part of the celebrations. We’ve had so many compliments from our guests about how much they loved it and can’t wait to get ceilidhing again! Thank you!"

"I've just want to say what a fantastic evening we had dancing at the Ceilidh. We were visiting Edinburgh for a special birthday on Burns night as I'd always wanted to celebrate it in Scotland. Though our kids / young adults (13 & 16) were the youngest there, we were all warmly welcomed. The music was great, the calling helped us get to grips with the dances, and the atmosphere was fantastic. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, thank you! Thanks again for an amazing night."

"Thank you for the most romantic and Scottish first dance and for your ceilidh. Tricia was great when calling the dances and explaining us what to do. We all had lots of fun. You also managed to make my dad dance, who ususally never does! I was truly amazed to see him on the dance floor. With your wonderful music you made the evening even more special and you created wonderful memories that we will bring forever in our hearts. I truly wish to meet you again and dance at the rythm of your wonderful Scottish music. I have purchased your disc in ITunes as I am in love with your songs! "

"Bob was booked for a Burns supper. He was really flexible in what he could offer; I was asking him to play over a prolonged period of time, not a 40min 'set'. He engaged with the crowd brilliantly, and really brought the songs to life. I would absolutely recommend to anyone and would absolutely use again, thank you Bob."

"Thank you . It was such a great night and the dancing was great. I loved that we opened the doors at the end ( for the amount of dancers that got up for the Strip the Willow). I think we might need a bigger venue next year it was such a success. The band was fabulous, I'll be keeping you in mind for other gigs."

Right from the word go, your professionalism and enthusiasm shone through, with both of you demonstrating superb musicianship combined with the excellent calling skills of Anna who got everyone up on their feet for the whole night! It gave all of us all an amazing evening to remember all our lives and greatly contributed to the success of the wedding as a whole. "Blag were really exactly what we were looking for! I don't live in London so I was nervous about choosing a band I hadn't heard play, but they sounded great online, and I spoke to Michael over the phone and on email about the type of party we were having and the music we wanted. Most importantly they played brilliantly on the night, everyone was up out their seats for a good knees up and we were guided round the dances that we didn't know. All the guests were happy. Would definitely recommend!"

"Amazing performance and Super Organized! As a wedding planner, I look for only the best to perform at our events because there is so much going on, we want to make sure our vendors are great and Brock and Toni are nothing short but amazing. They were willing to go the extra mile for our couple, super communicative and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. My couple loved them and the guests couldn’t stop talking about how great they were all night! Thank you again Brock and Toni! You truly made the wedding special!"

Felt we could trust them completely with reading the room in terms of what dances to do & when to call the DJ’ing section after the ceilidh. Thanks again!"
