"Marcia Bamberg gave a fantastic concert with her swing quartet on Friday evening, October 13. Marcia managed to continuously hold the attention of the audience with her beautiful voice and warm appearance and the musical accompaniment by John Ligthart on guitar, among others, was surprising and catchy. Afterwards, Marcia and 'her' men rightly received a standing ovation. Highly recommended for other (intimate) stages."

"A beautiful performance in the Lisettezaal of cultural center De Brink in Obdam on Sunday December 15th. A beautiful interplay of 4 musical friends, who played alternating gypsy swings. With personal stories told by Marcia , it was a true theater performance. The audience enjoyed the musicians and their playing. Recommended."

"(With Sarah-Jane singing) What an excellent evening ! The guests had a fab time. I am enjoying taking all the credit for the choice of band. The lads and yourself fitted in perfectly The music was excellent and very much enjoyed by all. But even better the lads and yourself are as charming as you are talented. Thank you for indulging my demands for the mic and flexible timings I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending you to other events organisers and you can quote me on that. "Last evening attendees to the to the Goods Shed in Tetbury were privileged to a spectacular Swing Jazz performance by this truly spectacular and accomplished group of guys. They are all very talented musicians that literally make their instruments talk. I couldn’t take my eyes off the guitarist playing the Gibson to whom nothing was beyond his skill set. My final observation was the obvious visual enjoyment the whole group derived from their music. A real pleasure to observe. Thank every one of you so much fun an enjoyable evening, hopefully soon to be repeated."

"What a treat to have The Texas Gypsies play our wedding. We wanted classic music and styles that people of all ages could dance to. They did a fantastic job, and we heard so many compliments from our guests--many of whom were musicians as well. Several people liked the band enough that they bought CDs, too. The Texas Gypsies even let my Dad play a little number. Very sweet. You can't go wrong with this band!"

"I immediately understood from the first contact that I was dealing with professionals, who know exactly how to handle an important and highly symbolic event like one's wedding, capable of always keeping the spotlight on the bride and groom without ever being intrusive or out of place, but rather accompanying us discreetly (but not without "personality") through all the stages of the evening. Being a musician myself, I had very high expectations about the matter, but the feedback received from the band was absolutely respectful of the tastes and the general idea that my partner and I had, and indeed there were, thanks to their experience, details that turned out to be more than spot-on, because they were always done at the right moment and in the most congenial manner to the situation.
