"Stevie played superbly at my late husband's memorial at Bamburgh Castle. It really enhanced a special day and made it even more memorable. Lots of the guests remarked on how much they enjoyed the varied selection of tunes and I would have no hesitation in recommending his services. Just perfect! "

"Recently had the pleasure of having Michael play at a family funeral service. From the get go he was so kind, considerate and professional. His uniform was immaculate and his pipes sounded absolutely incredible. Hugely talented man and would recommend him for any event. 10/10!"

"micheal played at my wedding last year not only was he amazing on the day he really went the extra mile offering to help out with other music on the day.he really did make our day I still speak to him to this day. I suppose you could say your not hiring a piper here your making a friend I could not recommend him highly enough."

"Great for Family Reunion It was a 90 degree day and the Reunion was in a banquet room where the air conditioning just couldn't keep up - most of the time it was in the 80s inside the place - awful! But John came in his beautiful Scottish attire and played for about 4 hours on and off - always positive and a fabulous attitude and looked fresh as a daisy! He was so professional and friendly and did a great job - playing everything at just the right time! We were all very impressed with his talent and his performance made the event a huge success! "

"If you are looking for a unique, diverse musical sound for an occasion, then book The Achill Lads. They are exceptionally talented musicians with style/genres ranging from traditional Irish/occasion/church music, piping, folk and singing. The variety of instruments they can play is astonishing! Their professionalism is second to none and I have been lucky to perform with them throughout the years. We were very honoured to have them perform at our Wedding last year and they were amazing! "Stevie, Recently piped at a relatives funeral, leading up to the event he was utterly professional, putting myself and the family at ease and liaising directly with the funeral service director over the proceedings on the day, and easing the burden on the family. On the day, he was immaculately turned out, and his piping of the Laments were faultless, his presence really made the final journey of our Loved one very special, everyone has commented how lovely it was to hear the pipes, and i cannot thank Stevie enough for his efforts on a very sad but through him an uplifting day. Thank you. "
